HAPAX — SOLSTICE SPECIAL
A circular veil rises at the center of the room. Inside this circle, a silhouette moves. Objects surround it and project onto the walls of this shelter that both conceals and reveals.
The apparatus — made of improvised objects, projectors, and automata — breathes, trembles, sometimes jams. It becomes a field of sensory experimentation, a spectral and disorienting journey at the border between concert, performance and installation.
The performance is based on a modular and lightweight apparatus built around the two performers. At first, the veil hides the scene: the audience only perceives silhouettes, fragments of objects, and projected shadows while the music fills the space. Then the veil slowly rises, until it falls, revealing the apparatus.

ÉMILE PAPANDRÉOU
MUSICIAN / PRODUCER
French producer and musician, half of the duo UTO. He creates music where ruptures, strong contrasts, and disruptive sounds coexist with a precise attention to melody — beauty that scratches. At the crossroads of acoustic, instrumental and electronic music, his tracks resemble broken, rusty toys that he repairs to make them function differently, at the risk of running out of control.
He develops much of his music aboard Péniche Adélaïde, a floating venue for creation and diffusion in Paris, in a practice situated between club music and experimentation.

ELLIOTT MATTA
FILMMAKER / VISUAL ARTIST
French filmmaker based between Paris and Marseille. Coming from documentary cinema, he develops a practice at the frontier between reality and abstraction, nourished by experimental cinema — exploring the very material of the image: light, grain, surface.
An obsessive collector, he gathers objects, images, and sounds as fragments to reassemble, manipulate, and project. His films are constructed like musical compositions, crossed by recurring motifs and ruptures.
